DIY: Gluten-Free All Purpose Flour

Yesterday I got experimental in the kitchen and decided to make my own brown rice flour and quinoa flour; see DIY: Gluten-Free Flours for the recipes. I then decided to make my own all purpose flour blend. I first used it to bake my baking powder biscuits and I was rather impressed with the results.

You Will Need: 

1 1/4 cups of Brown Rice Flour

1 1/4 cups of Quinoa Flour

1 3/4 cups of Corn Starch

1 3/4 cups of Potato Starch

Mix all these flours and starches together thoroughly to combine. This recipe will yield 6 cups of flour. This was cheaper than buying pre-packed gluten-free all purpose flour and was extremely easy to make.

also make this your own by using your favourite whole grain flours and starches. This recipe is just a guideline so don’t be afraid to play around with it!
